Patients from all work backgrounds can experience a work-related orthopedic injury. Common injuries to the knee, shoulder and elbow can occur from a fall, heavy lifting, repetitive movements or an automobile accident while on the time clock.
If your orthopedic injury is due to an accident in your work place, please be sure to contact your employer and inform them of your injury. Dr. Nikhil Verma’s office will need to receive authorization from your employer before we can process any medical claims. Please have your employer contact our Workers’ Compensation Department at (708) 236-2631. Failure to properly report your work injury to your employer may result in your claims being denied. Denied claims will be your responsibility.
